Mike founded Resolute Principles in 2024, rooted in a passion for meticulous attention to detail and the idea that success is always achieved through the application of disciplined basic principles. All challenges can be solved by doing the basics better. With 25+ years in the Army and 20 years as a Special Forces Leader, Mike has solved complex challenges with resolute principles - doing the basics better. From support to US & foreign heads of state to a myriad of General Officers, Mike has ensured successful outcomes always. Building both a non-profit and a startup advisory group has helped to build revenue and give back to those in need. His operational excellence, strategic thinking, and pursuit of perfect systems grew from years of Special Operations leadership. Purpose, Patience, and Organization are guiding lights.

Brigadier Gen. Harrison B. Gilliam, (Retired) was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Infantry in June 1991 following attendance at Officer Candidate School. He has completed the Special Forces Qualification Course and the Army Ranger School.  Upon becoming a Special Forces Officer in 1993,  he has served in a variety of positions within the Special Forces community over the last 30 years.  H.B. last position in the Army was serving as the Deputy Commanding General of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School.   H.B. commanded at every level and deployed as a commander to both Iraq and Afghanistan.   He also commanded the European Engagement Group  in Special Operations Command-Europ.     A graduate of the Army Command and General Staff and the Army War College,  BG Gilliam has earned three Masters degrees.
